bulletHOW TO GET THERE: From San Luis Obispo take Hwy 1 North 7 miles. Turn right into El Chorro County Regional Park, opposite Cuesta College.
bulletWHERE TO PARK: Follow signs to the Day Use Area. Parking lots near gate are large enough for horse trailers. Restrooms and water are available.
bulletTRAIL CHARACTER and DISTANCE: Two loop trails of approximately 2.5 miles are accessible. The southern trail winds up a hill overlooking Camp San Luis Obispo and curves down through oak woodlands. It is a moderate climb on good footing. The northern loop rambles through the old dairy farm. Touring the parks boundary adds additional miles.
bulletCAUTION: Camp San Luis Obispo borders the park and is posted NO TRESPASSING because of an impact area during WWII. Unexploded ammunition in this area could be hazardous. Be sure to stay on roadway and trails.
