Third Sunday of Every Month   1:00 - 4:00 Lake Shore Cleanup

Friends of Lopez Lake are sponsoring Lake Shore Clean-up scheduled for third Sunday of every month 1:00-4:00.  Meet at the Ranger station to get litter bags, gloves and a free entry pass to the Lake for the day.  This month we're going to work on the shoreline near the Marina and store.  Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon with other folks concerned about helping keep our county park a great place.  Snacks and water provided.  For information call Karen 481-0764.

 

Third Saturday Of Every Month  9:00-noon Kids Fishing Clinic 

Friends of Lopez Lake sponsor a monthly free fishing clinic for kids up to 16.  Parents and adults welcome to come along to help. All participants attend four short sessions on fishing skills including Fishing Safety, Ethics, Types of Fish and Bait, Tying knots and Casting Practice.  Then on to the dock for supervised fishing.  Meet at the Nature Center near the Marina anytime between 9:00 and noon.  All fishing gear loaned for the event.  Call Lopez Lake Ranger station for more information 788-2385
