Mission Statement and Goals
The RIDE NIPOMO Equestrian Trails Alliance is dedicated to identifying, establishing,
preserving and monitoring a safe equestrian trails network throughout historic Nipomo. We emphasize educating the public to the value of
maintaining an equestrian-friendly community.
Our primary goals are:
 |
To represent the concerns of the horse-friendly people of Nipomo; |
 |
To protect and preserve existing equestrian trails, easements, and access to trails in and
around historic Nipomo; |
 |
To ensure that new equestrian trails are constructed as mandated by subdivision map
approval, by community plan, or by proposed state, county, or federal park criteria; |
 |
To establish a voice in public affairs and governmental hearings that may affect equestrian trails, easements, and
access to equestrian
trails; |
 |
To inform and educate the public about the culture of horses, the safe and responsible use of trails, and the
benefits of being designated
as a horse-friendly community.
