bulletHIGHLIGHTS:  The park has thousands of acres of unspoiled open space and is home to countless species of plants and wildlife; there is also a network of multi-use trails and a developed area for picnicking, boating and fishing.
bulletHOW TO GET THERE:  Hwy 101 to Highway 58, the Santa Margarita exit.  Follow highway 58, crossing the railroad tracks until Pozo Road is reached.  Take the right fork, Pozo Road.  Proceed to the Santa Margarita Lake entrance.  .

bulletWhere to park:  Enter the park, where there is a park entrance fee and additional fee for each horse.  Directions to the staging areas are available at the kiosk.
bulletCaution:  Trails in the park are multi-use; pass other users with caution and courtesy; horse manure must be removed from staging area.
