 | HIGHLIGHTS: The park has thousands of acres
of unspoiled open space and is home to countless species of plants and
wildlife; there is also a network of multi-use trails and a developed area
for picnicking, boating and fishing. |
 | HOW TO GET THERE: Hwy 101 to Highway 58, the
Santa Margarita exit. Follow highway 58, crossing the railroad tracks
until Pozo Road is reached. Take the right fork, Pozo Road.
Proceed to the Santa Margarita Lake entrance. . |
 | Trail Character and Distance: Well maintained and
defined trails with good footing throughout ; the loop of all trails is

and additional fee for each horse. Directions to the staging areas are
