The Cuesta/Sespe trail is a series of existing and connecting dirt roads, single track trails and ohv routes that currently stretch over 175 miles from the northernmost part of the Los Padres National Forest in San Luis Obispo to the southernmost part of the forest in Ventura. This expanse provides the hiker or equestrian (and sometimes the bike rider) with expansive views of the coast, Carrizo Plains, wilderness areas, condor flight areas, hidden campgrounds, abundant waterfalls in winter, numerous hot springs, rustic back country cabins, innumerable species of wildlife AND a sense of adventure in traveling from SLO to Ventura by traditional means in the back country.
